Since I became aware, I have never celebrated March 23 or any other Shaheedi Diwas because I believe that paying tribute to all freedom fighters and revolutionaries who sacrificed their lives is more meaningful. You may have noticed that we only remember Bhagat Singh on his birth and death anniversaries. However, most of us are unaware that he had already written in his jail diary about how his vision would be fulfilled. His vision was not limited to achieving freedom alone—he had also addressed a significant question:”What if your death sentence is pardoned?”His response reflected a concern for everything that affects mankind.

Understanding Bhagat Singh’s True Vision

If you truly admire Bhagat Singh, you should read about all his companions and the people who participated in the freedom struggle, irrespective of their religions. Yet, year after year, we continue to divide ourselves into Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, and Christian, completely ignoring Bhagat Singh’s vision for a united Bharat. If you love Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, Ashfaqulla Khan, and other revolutionaries who envisioned a better system for us, then stop identifying solely as Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, or Christian. Instead, be an Indian, a Bharatvasi, and most importantly, a better human being.Tribute to All Freedom FightersIf you truly respect all freedom fighters, do not harbor hatred toward any religion. They fought for the betterment of Bharat (India), not for any specific religion. Therefore, love all religions and work together to build a better Bharat (India).Implementing Swami Vivekananda’s Educational VisionWe should strive to implement Swami Vivekananda’s ideas on education, which are already being applied in Delhi’s government schools. I firmly believe that the Happiness Classes, Deshbhakti Curriculum, and Mindfulness Classes introduced by the Delhi government are the best ways to shape the future of India. I have become apolitical because the students who have been studying these subjects for the past 10 years will eventually shape Bharat (India) and the world.A Global Vision: United EarthI have discussed similar ideas in my book, United Earth: Benefits and How It Can Be Possible. If the ideas presented in my book are implemented globally, all of Earth’s problems will be solved. You can read my book, along with many other books, for free if you have an Amazon Kindle subscription.Let us honor the legacy of Bhagat Singh and all freedom fighters by working towards a united, peaceful, and prosperous Bharat and Earth.
