If you have bad memories associated with a particular place, and whenever you go there, those memories resurface, making you feel bad or even depressed, here’s what you can do:Engage in positive and purifying activities at that place, such as performing havan (a sacred fire ritual) or reciting Sukhmani Sahib (a spiritual hymn from Sikhism).

These practices help purify the energy of the space and replace negative vibrations with positive ones.Additionally, once you gain better self-control, try to engage in constructive and positive activities in that space. I follow this method personally.

During my college days, I developed bad habits in a particular room at my home, and visiting that room used to bring back unpleasant memories. Over time, I started performing havan, practicing meditation, and chanting naam jap (repetition of the divine name) in that room. Gradually, I gained self-control, and the problem was resolved.
